Reznor 260605 Natural Gas to LP Propane Conversion Kit

The Reznor 260605 is a Honeywell #396221 spring kit designed for converting single-stage gas valves from natural gas to liquid propane operation. This spring kit is specifically designed for use with VR8215 single-stage gas valves, commonly found in Reznor unit heaters and heating equipment.

Key Features:

• Regulator spring kits are not interchangeable and must be used only in the model and type of gas valve for which the kit is designated
• Includes all necessary components for the conversion process
• Conversion kits may include multiple spring kits for different unit sizes, so careful part selection is required
• After installation, manifold pressure adjustment is required once the heater is in operation

Application:

This spring kit component (Part Number 260605) is used in various Reznor conversion kits for models including APD, UDAP, UDAS, UDBP, UDBS, UDX, UDZ, UBX, and UBZ series unit heaters. All gas conversion must be done by a qualified service person in accordance with installation instructions and in compliance with all codes and requirements.

Important Note:

Verify compatibility before installing the regulator spring kit. This component is part of a complete conversion process that also requires proper burner orifices, air restrictor plates, and gas valve outlet pressure adjustment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
