Product Details

The International Comfort Products 1177204 is a slow-opening natural gas valve designed for residential and light commercial HVAC systems. This valve is engineered to work with Hot Surface Ignition (HSI) systems, providing reliable and safe gas flow control during furnace operation.

Key Features:

  • Slow-opening design reduces stress on ignition components and ensures smooth startup
  • Compatible with Hot Surface Ignition (HSI) systems
  • Natural gas configuration for standard residential applications
  • Precision-engineered for consistent gas metering and flow control
  • Direct OEM replacement part for International Comfort Products furnaces

This gas valve is a critical safety component that regulates the flow of natural gas to the burner assembly. The slow-opening feature allows the hot surface igniter to reach proper temperature before full gas flow is introduced, reducing the risk of ignition failure and improving system reliability.
