Johnson Controls VA9208-GGA-2 Electric Spring Return Ball Valve Actuator 24V 0-10VDC 1-1/2 NPT

The Johnson Controls VA9208-GGA-2 is a proportional electric spring return valve actuator designed for precise control of VG1000 Series ball valves in HVAC applications. This actuator provides proportional modulation of VG1000 1-1/4, 1-1/2, and 2 inch ball valves in HVAC systems that are controlled by an electronic controller or positioner.

Key Features:

• 150 second duty cycle with spring-return mechanical system providing maximum torque of 70 inch-pounds
• Responds to 0 to 10 VDC or 2 to 10 VDC control signals, and with a 500 ohm resistor, responds to 0 to 20 mA or 4 to 20 mA signals
• Provides 0 to 10 VDC or 2 to 10 VDC feedback signal for position indication and master-slave applications
• Includes plenum-rated cables specially configured for installation in spaces used for environmental air-handling purposes per NFPA 70 section 300.22(c)
• 24V AC/DC power supply operation for flexible installation
• Direct-coupled design requires no separate linkage - attaches with one captive screw

The VG1000 Series valves are designed to control chilled water, hot water, 50% glycol, and 15 psig steam (stainless trim models only). This actuator provides reliable proportional control with reduced power consumption in holding mode and protection from overload at all angles of rotation.
