Belimo AFBUP Spring Return Damper Actuator 180 In-Lb Torque Universal Voltage

The Belimo AFBUP is a spring return damper actuator delivering 180 in-lb (20 Nm) of torque for reliable fail-safe control of HVAC dampers. This versatile actuator features universal power supply operation from 24V AC to 240V AC or 24V DC to 125V DC, making it compatible with virtually any building control system.

Key Features:

• On/Off control with spring return fail-safe operation
• 95° rotation angle with graduated position indicator (0° to 95°)
• Mounts directly to damper shafts up to 1.05" diameter via universal clamp
• Reversible fail-safe direction of rotation, selectable by CCW/CW mounting
• Manual override with 5mm hex crank supplied
• Two actuators can be piggybacked for torque loads up to 266 in-lbs
• Wide ambient temperature range: -22°F to 122°F (-30°C to 50°C)
• UL 2043 compliant for plenum installations

The spring return system ensures constant torque to the damper whether power is applied or not, providing reliable fail-safe positioning during power loss. Motor running time is 75 seconds per 90° with fail-safe running time less than 20 seconds. The enclosure meets IP54, NEMA 2, Enclosure Type 2 protection standards, suitable for demanding HVAC environments. The actuator may be stalled anywhere in its rotation without mechanical end switches.

Crank arms and mounting brackets are available separately for applications where direct coupling is not possible. Ideal for commercial building automation, industrial HVAC systems, and any application requiring reliable fail-safe damper control.
