Amana-Goodman TXV-48 Thermostatic Expansion Valve Kit 4 Ton R410A Danfoss

The Amana-Goodman TXV-48 is a Danfoss fixed thermostatic expansion valve (TXV) kit designed for 4-ton air conditioning and heat pump systems using R410A refrigerant. This expansion valve regulates the flow of refrigerant liquid entering your system's evaporator, guaranteeing reliable and optimal pressure and temperatures for your HVAC system.

Key Features:

• Offers precise control over how much liquid refrigerant enters the evaporator coil, ensuring that all liquid that enters fully evaporates
• Required for 14 SEER or higher split system heat pumps
• Can be mounted in any position on the evaporator coil inlet
• Protects the compressor motor against liquid refrigerant
• Danfoss quality engineering for reliable, long-lasting performance
• Compact design at 5.5 inches x 5 inches x 3.75 inches

Your system will operate more precisely and with greater efficiency with a TXV, preventing issues from both insufficient and excessive refrigerant flow. The TXV controls the amount of refrigerant flow into the evaporator thereby controlling the superheating at the outlet of the evaporator. Professional installation by a licensed HVAC technician is required.
