Resideo EA122A1028 1/8" Automatic Air Vent with Built-In Shutoff Valve

The Resideo EA122A1028 is a 1/8" NPT automatic air vent designed specifically for non-heating system applications including chilled water systems, cooling towers, and process water lines. This compact air elimination device automatically releases trapped air from closed-loop hydronic systems while preventing water loss through its integrated float mechanism.

Key Features:

• Built-in shutoff valve allows for safe removal and servicing without draining the system
• Automatic float-operated design continuously vents air without manual intervention
• 1/8" NPT male connection for easy installation in tight spaces
• Brass construction provides corrosion resistance and durability
• Compact design suitable for vertical or horizontal mounting
• Maximum working pressure of 150 PSI
• Temperature range: 32°F to 240°F

The integrated shutoff valve is a critical feature that enables maintenance without system shutdown. Simply close the valve, remove the vent body for cleaning or replacement, then reinstall and reopen. This design minimizes downtime and prevents water spillage during service. Ideal for use in commercial HVAC systems, industrial process cooling, and any closed-loop water system where air accumulation can cause reduced efficiency or flow problems.
