Resideo by Honeywell BP900 1/2" NPT Double Check Backflow Preventer

The Resideo by Honeywell BP900 is a compact double check backflow preventer designed to protect potable water systems from contamination. This device features 1/2" NPT threaded connections, making it suitable for residential and light commercial applications where backflow prevention is required by code.

Key Features:

• Double check valve assembly (DCVA) provides reliable backflow protection
• 1/2" NPT female threaded inlet and outlet connections
• Compact brass construction for durability and corrosion resistance
• Spring-loaded check valves ensure positive sealing
• Suitable for continuous pressure applications
• Complies with ASSE 1015 and other relevant backflow prevention standards

This backflow preventer is ideal for protecting against backsiphonage and backpressure in water supply lines. The dual check valve design provides redundant protection, with each independently operating check valve preventing reverse flow. Commonly installed on boiler feeds, irrigation systems, fire sprinkler systems, and other applications where cross-connection control is necessary.
