Johnson Controls VG7241LT+7150G VG7000 Series 3/4" 2-Way Brass Trim Globe Valve with VA-7150-1001 24V Incremental Electric Actuator

The Johnson Controls VG7241LT+7150G is a factory-assembled combination of the VG7000 Series Model VG7241LT brass trim globe valve and the VA-7150-1001 non-spring-return electric actuator. This complete valve and actuator assembly is designed for precise hot water, chilled water, or steam control in HVAC systems.

The VG7241LT globe valve features a 3/4-inch FNPT connection with a 7.3 Cv flow coefficient and a two-way configuration. Its brass trim construction provides corrosion resistance across a wide range of media temperatures. The valve delivers an equal percentage flow characteristic with a 25:1 rangeability per EN 60534-2-4, and carries an ANSI Class IV leakage rating of 0.01% of maximum flow per ANSI/FCI 70-2. The valve body is constructed of cast bronze with a stainless steel stem, brass plug, elastomer disc seat, and EPR packing. Valve packing can be replaced in place without removing the valve from the line.

The VA-7150-1001 electric actuator is a synchronous motor-driven, non-spring-return unit that operates on 24 VAC and accepts three-wire incremental (floating) control signals. It delivers a minimum 90 lb (400 N) force output and supports strokes from 5/16" to 25/32". A magnetic clutch provides constant output force for positive valve closeoff and protects the motor under stall conditions. Selectable direct or reverse action simplifies setup, and screw terminals accept 24–14 AWG wiring. The actuator carries a NEMA 1/IP40 enclosure rating.
