Johnson Controls VG1245DP+938BGC 1-1/4" Two-Way Ball Valve with Spring-Return Actuator

The Johnson Controls VG1245DP+938BGC is a complete valve and actuator assembly designed to regulate the flow of hot or chilled water in commercial HVAC systems. This assembly features a 1-1/4 inch NPT two-way ball valve with a flow capacity of 18.7 Cv, paired with the VA9208-BGC-3 spring-return electric actuator providing 70 lb-in torque for on/off control.

Key Features:

• Forged brass body provides 580 psig static pressure rating
• Stainless steel ball and stem assembly for corrosion resistance and durability
• Graphite-reinforced PTFE seats with 15% graphite reinforcement for better wear resistance
• 500:1 rangeability provides accurate control under all load conditions
• Maintenance-free design performs without failure in excess of 200,000 full stroke cycles in iron-oxide contaminated water
• Mechanical spring-return system provides rated torque with and without power applied
• Two SPDT auxiliary switches for position indication
• 24 VAC power requirement with 48 inch 18 AWG appliance cable, 200 PSID close-off pressure

The VA9208 Series electric spring-return valve actuators are direct-mount actuators used to provide accurate positioning on Johnson Controls VG1000 Series 1-1/4, 1-1/2, and 2 inch ball valves in HVAC applications. This factory-assembled combination is ideal for controlling chilled water, hot water, or 50% glycol solutions in heating and cooling systems where two-position spring-return control is required.
