Resideo by Honeywell C7835A1009 Discharge Air Temperature Sensor for Zoning Systems

The Resideo by Honeywell C7835A1009 is a discharge air temperature sensor (DATS) designed specifically for network zoning systems. This sensor continuously monitors the temperature of air leaving the HVAC system, providing critical feedback to ensure proper zone control and system operation.

Key Features:

• Accurate discharge air temperature monitoring for zoning applications
• Compatible with Resideo/Honeywell network zoning control panels
• Thermistor-type sensor for reliable temperature sensing
• Easy installation in supply air ductwork
• Helps prevent system damage from temperature extremes
• Essential component for proper zone damper control

The DATS sensor plays a vital role in zoned HVAC systems by monitoring supply air temperature and communicating with the zone control panel. This allows the system to protect equipment by preventing operation outside safe temperature ranges and ensures optimal comfort delivery to individual zones. The sensor mounts directly in the supply plenum or main trunk line downstream of the heating and cooling equipment.
