Johnson Controls VG12A5GU+92NGGC 2.5 Inch 2-Way Globe Valve with Electric Actuator

The Johnson Controls VG12A5GU+92NGGC is a complete valve and actuator assembly designed for precise hydronic flow control in commercial HVAC systems. This assembly combines a 2.5-inch two-way globe valve with a 24VAC spring return proportional electric actuator with auxiliary switches.

Valve Specifications:

• Valve size: 2.5 inches with NPT threaded connections
• Valve type: Two-way globe valve for on/off or modulating control
• Flow coefficient (Cv): 117 for high-capacity applications
• Body construction: Bronze or cast iron body for durability
• Designed for hot and chilled water systems

Actuator Features:

• Power requirement: 24VAC for control voltage compatibility
• Spring return (SR) design for fail-safe positioning on power loss
• Proportional control for precise modulating operation
• Auxiliary switches included for system feedback and monitoring
• Rugged housing suitable for mechanical room environments

This valve assembly is ideal for heating and cooling coils, heat exchangers, and other hydronic equipment requiring reliable flow control. The spring return feature ensures the valve returns to a predetermined position during power failure, providing fail-safe operation for critical HVAC applications.
