Siemens Building Technology 184-117 Inline Air Restrictor 40 SCIM 1/4" OD Green Barbed 5-Pack

The Siemens 184-117 is a Type 2 barbed inline air restrictor designed for precise airflow control in pneumatic building automation and HVAC systems. This restrictor features an orifice diameter of 0.0074" with a nominal air capacity of 40 SCIM and 100 percent maximum flow capacity at 22 psi. The flow rate is equivalent to 11 ml/sec, making it ideal for controlling air signals in pneumatic thermostats, actuators, and control systems.

Key Features:

• 1/4" OD barbed connection for polyethylene plastic tubing with green color coding
• Integrated air filter to protect system components
• Airflow direction arrow molded on body to minimize installation errors
• Airflow capacity rating clearly molded on restrictor body
• Durable plastic construction for long service life in building automation applications
• Package of five restrictors for convenient bulk installation

Applications:

• Precise flow regulation in HVAC systems for optimal performance and efficiency
• Pneumatic control systems for commercial buildings
• Building automation systems requiring accurate air signal control
• Flow restriction for pneumatic actuators and thermostats

The 184-117 inline restrictor provides reliable, maintenance-free operation in demanding building automation environments. The color-coded green body corresponds to its 40 SCIM flow rating, making it easy to identify the correct restrictor during installation and service. The integrated air filter helps protect downstream components from contamination while the directional arrow ensures proper installation orientation.
