Trane IGN0023USA Silicon Carbide Hot Surface Ignitor 120V

The Trane IGN0023USA is a genuine OEM silicon carbide hot surface ignitor designed for reliable ignition in Trane and American Standard gas furnaces and heating systems. This updated version replaces the obsolete IGN0023 model and is also known as the Norton 271N ignitor.

Key Features:

• High-purity recrystallized silicon carbide construction for superior durability and thermal stability
• Reaches ignition temperature in approximately 17 seconds
• 120-volt operation with 40-90 ohm resistance rating
• 19.125-inch lead wires with H-type stripped ends for easy installation
• 18-gauge nickel chrome lead wires with high-temperature fiberglass insulation
• Direct plug-in replacement with no modifications required on most applications

This hot surface ignitor is engineered to provide consistent, efficient ignition by replacing traditional pilot lights. The silicon carbide element combines exceptional physical and thermal strength with stable electrical properties for long-lasting performance. Compatible with various Trane and American Standard furnace models, this ignitor ensures reliable cold-weather starts when you need heat the most.
