Trane VAL9222 R410A Thermostatic Expansion Valve with Check 2 Ton

The Trane VAL9222 is a thermostatic expansion valve (TXV) with integrated check valve designed specifically for R410A refrigerant systems. This precision metering device is engineered for 2-ton air conditioning and heat pump applications, providing optimal refrigerant flow control to maintain system efficiency and performance.

Key Features:

• Designed for R410A refrigerant systems
• 2-ton cooling capacity rating
• Integrated check valve for heat pump applications
• Precision thermostatic metering for optimal superheat control
• Factory-calibrated for consistent performance
• Durable brass construction for long service life
• OEM Trane replacement component

The integrated check valve allows this TXV to function in heat pump systems by preventing refrigerant flow in the reverse direction during heating mode. This expansion valve helps maintain proper superheat levels, protecting the compressor from liquid refrigerant damage while maximizing system efficiency. Ideal for replacement in Trane residential and light commercial HVAC equipment.
