Product Details

The Carrier EA36YD115 is an OEM upgraded replacement thermal expansion valve (TXV) designed specifically for R-410A refrigerant systems with A-coil configurations. This precision metering device controls refrigerant flow into the evaporator coil, ensuring optimal system performance and efficiency in residential and light commercial HVAC applications.

Key Features:

  • Engineered for R-410A refrigerant systems
  • Compatible with A-coil evaporator configurations
  • OEM replacement component ensures proper fit and function
  • Maintains consistent superheat control for system efficiency
  • Direct replacement for original factory-installed valve

This thermal expansion valve automatically regulates refrigerant flow based on evaporator load conditions, preventing coil flooding or starvation. Proper TXV operation is critical for maintaining system efficiency, preventing compressor damage, and ensuring consistent comfort control.

Pump connection wires look weak, and box it arrived in was a bit beat up. Overall, the pump looks good, but I am suspect about the wire connections. They look weak and prone to breakage. Looks like they have been refurbished. Was purchased as a gift, so the receiver of pump will need to determine its quality.

Overall wonderful shopping experience.

Found the item I needed quickly, and check-out was a breeze.
