Belimo B308 Characterized Control Valve Cv - 1/2 3-Way 0.46

The Belimo B308 is a 1/2" 3-way characterized control valve with a Cv rating of 0.46, designed for precise flow control in HVAC hydronic systems. This valve body is engineered to work with Belimo actuators (sold separately) for proportional, floating, or two-position control applications.

Key Features:

• Nickel plated forged brass body with stainless steel ball and stem
• A-port equal percentage flow characteristic, B-port modified for constant common port flow
• Flow capacity of 0.92 GPM at 4 psi differential pressure
• Suitable for chilled or hot water up to 250°F maximum temperature
• Compatible with water/glycol solutions up to 60% glycol concentration
• 1/2" NPT female threaded connections

Ideal for air handling units, fan coil units, unit ventilators, VAV box re-heat coils, and bypass loops in hydronic systems with variable flow requirements. The characterized control valve design provides equal percentage flow characteristics for precise control while preventing control loop hunting for improved system stability and energy efficiency. Note that this valve body requires a separate Belimo actuator for operation.
