INA EA0164 Overrunning Alternator Pulley

The INA EA0164 is an overrunning alternator pulley (OAP) designed to reduce the critical impact of alternator inertia and crankshaft irregularities on the accessory drive system. Unlike traditional rigid belt pulleys, this advanced pulley design allows rotational movement to effectively dampen vibrations, significantly extending the service life of all front end accessory drive (FEAD) components.

Key Features:

• OEM replacement part number 5350164100
• Designed for 7-ribbed belt applications
• Specifically engineered for use with Bosch alternators
• Improves NVH (Noise, Vibration, and Harshness) performance
• Reduces tension peaks in the poly V-belt system
• Manufactured by INA Schaeffler Group, a global market leader with over 120 million OAPs produced
• Steel construction with grooved contact surface for optimal belt engagement

This overrunning alternator pulley calms vibrations in the alternator shaft by decoupling the alternator from irregular crankshaft movements, preventing belt slippage and reducing wear on the drive system.
