DBA DB1142SS Street Series Rear Brake Pads

The DBA DB1142SS Street Series brake pads are designed for the OE replacement market, delivering reliable stopping power for everyday driving. Developed with three key objectives: performance at or above OE level, optimal friction formulation for the application, and compatibility with DBA's market-leading Street Series disc rotors.

Advanced Friction Technology:

Great attention was given to developing a friction formulation that achieves a friction coefficient exceeding current market standards. DBA offers either ceramic or semi-metallic formulations depending on the specific application and required performance characteristics. These pads feature a high-friction stripe for easy bedding-in and application-specific NVH shims, slots, and chamfers to minimize vibration and noise.

Key Features:

• Rear axle position brake pad set
• Replaces original part number DB1142
• OE-style post-cured manufacturing process for optimal braking performance throughout pad life
• Application-specific design for reduced noise and vibration
• High-friction stripe for faster, easier bed-in
• Includes NVH shims for quiet operation

Applications:

Street Series brake pads are recommended for everyday use in passenger cars, SUVs, and light commercial vehicles. For best results, DBA recommends using Street Series brake pads with Street Series disc rotors for increased first application effectiveness and reduced bed-in time.
