Lock Technology LT1600R 1" Drive Heavy-Duty Truck Torque Extension 250 Ft-Lbs

The Lock Technology LT1600R is a professional-grade torque extension designed for heavy-duty truck wheel installation and maintenance. This precision tool limits torque output to 250 ft-lbs when used with 1-inch drive pneumatic or electric impact wrenches, ensuring proper wheel nut tightening without the risk of over-torquing.

Key Features:

• 1-inch drive size for heavy-duty truck applications
• Preset 250 ft-lb torque limit prevents over-tightening
• Engineered to flex and absorb excess impact when torque limit is reached
• Eliminates broken or damaged wheel studs from over-torquing
• Helps comply with OSHA regulation 29CFR1910.183 for proper wheel installation
• Reduces wheel installation time by up to 65%
• Prevents damage to alloy wheels and brake components
• Calibration-free design with no moving parts

Torque extensions use specially engineered steel construction that allows the extension to twist and flex when the preset torque value is reached, preventing additional torque from transferring to the wheel nut. This professional tool is ideal for fleet maintenance, commercial truck shops, and heavy equipment servicing where consistent, accurate torque application is critical for safety and compliance.
