Ferrea F1098P-1 Competition Plus Hollow Stem Exhaust Valve - 1.625 8mm LS1

The Ferrea F1098P-1 Competition Plus Hollow Stem Exhaust Valve is engineered for high-performance LS1 engine builds demanding extreme reliability and reduced reciprocating mass. This lightweight valve features a 1.625" head diameter with an 8mm (0.313") stem diameter and 4.915" overall length with 0.160" tip length.

Key Features:

• Hollow stem construction achieves approximately 20% weight reduction versus conventional solid-stem stainless steel valves
• Gun-drilled and micro-polished hollow stem cavity for precision weight savings
• Allows engines to run at higher RPMs than comparable solid valves in classes prohibiting titanium
• Hard chrome plated stem provides low friction coefficient and wear-resistant surface
• Manufactured from aerospace-quality EV8 alloy with high tensile strength
• Extensive heat treatment and stress-relieving process ensures molecular integrity
• RDL (radial) groove design for positive valve lock retention

Ferrea Competition Plus valves have earned their reputation as the industry's most reliable extreme-duty valve for racing applications. Each valve undergoes rigorous CNC machining and quality control procedures. Ideal for naturally aspirated or forced induction LS1 builds where reduced valvetrain weight translates to increased RPM capability and improved performance.
