The Cometic C4243-066 is a high-performance Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) cylinder head gasket engineered specifically for the Mitsubishi 6G72 24-valve engine. This precision-manufactured gasket features a 93mm bore diameter and a compressed thickness of .066 inches, making it ideal for both stock and modified engine applications.

Key Features:

• Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) construction for superior strength and durability
• 93mm bore diameter designed for 6G72 24-valve engines
• .066-inch compressed thickness for optimal sealing
• Advanced materials resist thermal expansion and contraction
• Excellent conformability to sealing surfaces for maximum reliability
• Suitable for both naturally aspirated and forced induction applications

Cometic MLS gaskets utilize multiple layers of stainless steel with specialized coatings to provide exceptional sealing capabilities under extreme cylinder pressures and temperatures. The embossed layers allow the gasket to adapt to minor surface irregularities while maintaining consistent clamping pressure across the entire sealing surface. This gasket is compatible with various Mitsubishi vehicles equipped with the 6G72 DOHC 24-valve V6 engine, including certain Dodge Stealth, Mitsubishi 3000GT, and Mitsubishi Montero models.
