Product Details

The Gates 51797 Molded Coolant Hose is a premium OEM-quality replacement radiator hose designed for upper, lower, bypass, heater, and other coolant system applications. This factory-molded hose is engineered to fit today's smaller, tighter-fitting engine compartments while delivering reliable performance in demanding conditions.

Key Specifications:

  • Centerline Length: 4-1/8 inches (105mm)
  • End 1 Inside Diameter: 1-3/16 inches (30mm)
  • End 2 Inside Diameter: 1-7/16 inches (37mm)
  • Material: EPDM rubber construction with synthetic fiber knit reinforcement
  • Temperature Range: -40°F to +257°F (-40°C to +125°C)
  • Meets SAE 20R4 Class D2 and DIN 73411 Class A standards

Performance Features:

  • Pre-shaped molded design ensures proper fit and perfectly sealed connections
  • Specifically-engineered materials resist collapse under vacuum conditions
  • Engineered to resist electrochemical degradation, the leading cause of coolant hose failure
  • Heat, ozone, and chemical coolant-resistant EPDM cover for long-lasting durability
  • Approved for marine applications as well as coolant, water, and air applications

Gates recommends replacing hose clamps each time a new coolant hose is installed for optimal performance. Note: Do not use for fuel or oil transfer applications.

Could do faster shipping

Great prices.

The order processing is very fast. I am very happy with the availability of the parts as many of the auto parts suppliers don't carry this product.

I was very happy with the clips I received and the customer service was friendly and courteous. I had seen some bad reviews but I had no issues and will buy from Autoplicity again.

Great

Good pricing and quick shipping. I'd recommend them.
