Four Seasons 39503 A/C Expansion Valve TXV Block Type Replacement

The Four Seasons 39503 is a direct-fit automotive A/C expansion valve (TXV) engineered to restore proper refrigerant metering to your vehicle's air conditioning system. As a critical component in the A/C circuit, the expansion valve precisely controls the flow of refrigerant into the evaporator, regulating superheat to maintain efficient and consistent cabin cooling.

Key Features:

• Block-type thermostatic expansion valve (TXV) design for direct OEM-style replacement
• Engineered to meet or exceed original equipment fit, form, and function requirements
• Each valve is individually calibrated to application-specific tonnage, superheat, and maximum operating pressure (MOP) settings
• Constructed from durable aluminum for corrosion resistance and long service life
• Female suction and liquid inlet/outlet fittings with O-ring seals for leak-free connections
• Includes application-specific O-rings, gaskets, and seals for a complete installation
• Compatible with R134a refrigerant systems
• Tested and validated to ensure reliable performance before leaving the assembly facility

Four Seasons is one of the largest aftermarket mobile climate control suppliers in the industry and operates under the SMP Temperature Control Division. Their expansion valve line is developed using in-house R&D with precision measuring equipment to ensure every valve is correctly calibrated — a faulty or misapplied TXV is a leading cause of A/C performance problems. Replacing a worn or failed expansion valve with the Four Seasons 39503 restores proper refrigerant flow, eliminates inconsistent cooling, and helps protect the compressor from damage caused by improper metering.
