Wells 4B1698 Vapor Canister

The Wells 4B1698 Vapor Canister is a critical emissions control component designed to store and contain harmful fuel vapors from the fuel system, preventing them from being released into the atmosphere. This charcoal-filled canister captures gasoline vapors and holds them until they can be routed back into the engine's intake system to be burned during combustion.

Key Features:

• Engineered to meet or exceed OEM specifications for fit, form, and function
• Works in concert with the fuel system, underhood electronics, and engine to minimize environmental pollutants
• Designed to integrate seamlessly with the vehicle's EVAP (Evaporative Emission Control) system
• Compatible with both domestic and imported vehicles
• Manufactured by Wells Vehicle Electronics, a trusted name in engine management and vehicle electronics

The vapor canister plays an essential role in maintaining your vehicle's emissions compliance and preventing check engine light codes related to the EVAP system. When the canister fails, it can lead to fuel odors, failed emissions tests, and illuminated warning lights.
