Wells 4B1638 Vapor Canister EVAP Emission Control

The Wells 4B1638 Vapor Canister is a direct-fit replacement component for your vehicle's evaporative emission control system (EVAP). This canister plays a critical role in capturing and storing fuel vapors from the fuel tank, preventing harmful hydrocarbons from being released into the atmosphere.

Key Features:

• Engineered to match OE specifications for reliable fit and function
• Contains activated charcoal to absorb and store fuel vapors safely
• Helps maintain proper emission control system operation
• Prevents check engine light codes related to EVAP system failures
• Manufactured by Wells Vehicle Electronics, a trusted name in automotive emission components
• Direct replacement for worn or damaged original canister

The vapor canister works in conjunction with other EVAP system components to capture fuel vapors when the engine is off and route them back to the engine for combustion when running. A failing vapor canister can cause fuel odors, check engine lights, and emissions test failures. Wells Vehicle Electronics manufactures this component to restore proper EVAP system function and keep your vehicle running cleanly and efficiently.
