Wells 4B1385 Vapor Canister

The Wells 4B1385 Vapor Canister is a direct-fit emission control component designed to capture and store fuel vapors from the vehicle's fuel system. This charcoal-filled canister prevents harmful hydrocarbon vapors from escaping into the atmosphere, helping your vehicle maintain compliance with emission standards while reducing environmental impact.

Key Features:

• Engineered to meet OE specifications for fit, form, and function
• Activated charcoal media effectively absorbs and stores fuel vapors
• Durable housing designed to withstand underbody exposure and temperature extremes
• Includes mounting hardware and connectors where applicable
• Helps prevent check engine light codes related to EVAP system failures

The vapor canister is a critical component of the evaporative emission control (EVAP) system, working in conjunction with the purge valve and vent solenoid to manage fuel vapors. When the canister becomes saturated, cracked, or contaminated, it can trigger diagnostic trouble codes and cause failed emissions tests. Wells Vehicle Electronics manufactures emission control components that are rigorously tested to ensure reliable performance and proper system operation.
