Wells 4B1381 Fuel Vapor Canister Evaporative Emissions Replacement

The Wells 4B1381 is a direct-replacement fuel vapor canister (also known as a charcoal canister or EVAP canister) designed to restore proper function to your vehicle's evaporative emission control (EVAP) system. The vapor canister stores and contains harmful fuel vapors from the fuel tank that would otherwise be released into the atmosphere, helping to reduce environmental damage and keep your vehicle in compliance with emissions standards.

Key Features:

• Engineered and tested to match OE parts in fit, form, and function
• Designed to meet or exceed original equipment specifications for reliable performance
• Compatible with both domestic and imported vehicle applications
• Helps prevent fuel vapor leaks that can trigger a Check Engine Light (CEL)
• Restores proper EVAP system function to help pass emissions testing
• High-quality construction built to withstand underhood temperature extremes

A failing vapor canister can lead to a variety of drivability and emissions issues, including excessive fuel consumption, failed emissions tests, and Check Engine Light illumination. Replacing a worn or damaged canister with the Wells 4B1381 helps restore EVAP system integrity and maintain peak fuel efficiency. This part is also sold under the WVE by NTK brand as part number 4B1381.
