Wells 4B1204 Vapor Canister Purge EVAP Emissions Control Canister

The Wells 4B1204 is a direct-fit vapor canister (also known as an EVAP canister or charcoal canister) designed to meet or exceed OEM specifications for emissions control performance. The vapor canister is a critical component of the Evaporative Emission Control (EVAP) system, capturing and storing fuel vapors from the fuel tank to prevent them from venting into the atmosphere.

The internal activated charcoal media absorbs and holds fuel vapors while the engine is off. When the engine is running and conditions are met, the purge valve opens and stored vapors are drawn into the intake manifold to be burned as part of the normal combustion process — reducing harmful hydrocarbon emissions and keeping your vehicle in compliance with emissions regulations.

Key Features:

• Direct OEM replacement — no modifications required for installation
• Manufactured to meet or exceed original equipment specifications
• Activated charcoal media for effective fuel vapor absorption and storage
• Helps maintain proper fuel system pressure and emissions compliance
• Engineered to restore proper EVAP system function and eliminate related diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs)
• Durable construction for long-lasting, reliable performance

Wells Vehicle Electronics has been a trusted supplier of ignition, emissions, and electrical components for professional technicians and the automotive aftermarket for decades. The 4B1204 vapor canister is built to restore proper EVAP system function and help clear emissions-related fault codes.
