Wells 4B1169 Vapor Canister

The Wells 4B1169 Vapor Canister is a critical emission control component that stores and contains harmful fuel vapors from the fuel system, preventing them from being released into the atmosphere. This replacement vapor canister is designed to restore proper evaporative emissions (EVAP) system function in vehicles experiencing fuel vapor management issues.

Key Features:

• Engineered to meet OE specifications for fit, form, and function
• Contains activated charcoal media to effectively capture and store fuel vapors
• Helps maintain compliance with emission standards and regulations
• Prevents check engine light codes related to EVAP system failures
• Direct replacement for worn or damaged original equipment vapor canisters

The vapor canister works as part of the vehicle's evaporative emission control system, which captures fuel vapors before they can escape and contribute to air pollution. When the engine is running and conditions are appropriate, these stored vapors are purged from the canister and burned in the combustion process, improving overall fuel efficiency while protecting the environment.
