Wells 3F1102 EGR Valve Gasket Replacement

The Wells 3F1102 is a direct-fit replacement EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) valve gasket engineered to restore a leak-free seal at the EGR valve mounting surface. A properly sealing EGR gasket is essential for maintaining correct exhaust gas recirculation flow, preventing exhaust leaks, and ensuring accurate emissions system performance.

Key Features:

• OE-matching design — engineered to meet or exceed original equipment specifications for precise fit, form, and function
• Leak-free sealing — precision-cut gasket material provides a reliable seal between the EGR valve and the intake manifold or exhaust port
• Top performance for long service life — manufactured to withstand high exhaust temperatures and pressures
• Direct-fit replacement — no modifications required for a straightforward installation
• Maximum reliability — consistent quality control ensures durability in demanding engine environments

About the EGR System:

The Exhaust Gas Recirculation system reduces harmful nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions by recirculating a portion of exhaust gas back into the engine's combustion chambers, lowering peak combustion temperatures. The EGR valve gasket seals the connection point in this system, and a failed or deteriorated gasket can result in exhaust leaks, rough idle, increased emissions, and illumination of the check engine light.
