Wells 2P1004 PCV Valve Grommet

The Wells 2P1004 is a replacement PCV (Positive Crankcase Ventilation) valve grommet designed to provide a secure, airtight seal between the PCV valve and the valve cover. This grommet is a critical sealing component that prevents vacuum leaks, oil seepage, and unmetered air from entering the intake system — all of which can negatively affect engine performance, idle quality, and emissions.

Made from durable, heat- and oil-resistant rubber or elastomer material, the Wells 2P1004 grommet maintains a tight fit over the life of the component, resisting the cracking, hardening, and shrinkage common in inferior or aged OEM grommets. Replacing a worn or deteriorated PCV valve grommet is a simple, low-cost step that can restore proper crankcase ventilation and prevent costly oil leaks.

Key Features:

• Direct-fit replacement for original equipment PCV valve grommet
• Constructed from high-quality, oil- and heat-resistant elastomer
• Maintains an airtight seal to prevent vacuum leaks and oil seepage
• Resists cracking, hardening, and shrinkage over time
• Restores proper positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) system function
• Easy drop-in installation — no special tools required

Wells has been a trusted supplier of engine management, emissions, and electrical components to professional technicians and DIY enthusiasts for decades. The 2P1004 grommet meets or exceeds OEM specifications for a reliable, long-lasting repair.
