Wells 2N1065 Vapor Canister Purge Solenoid

The Wells 2N1065 Vapor Canister Purge Solenoid is a critical component of your vehicle's evaporative emission control (EVAP) system. This solenoid controls the flow of fuel vapors from the charcoal canister to the engine's intake manifold, allowing stored vapors to be burned during the combustion process rather than released into the atmosphere.

Key Features:

• Engineered and tested to match OE specifications for fit, form, and function
• Compatible with both domestic and import vehicles
• Includes OE-style electrical connectors for direct replacement
• High-grade materials designed to withstand extreme underhood temperature variations
• Robust solenoid design prevents premature leaks and part failure

Function and Benefits:

The vapor canister purge solenoid is controlled by the engine control module (ECM) and opens at specific times during the engine's operating cycle. This process helps reduce harmful emissions, improves fuel economy by preventing fuel loss through evaporation, and ensures your vehicle maintains proper emission controls. A failing purge solenoid can cause rough idle, hard starting, decreased fuel efficiency, check engine light activation, and emissions test failure.

Wells Vehicle Electronics manufactures emission control components that meet strict OE standards, ensuring reliable performance and proper emissions compliance for your vehicle.
