Wells 2N1058 Vapor Canister Purge Solenoid EVAP Emissions Control Valve

The Wells 2N1058 Vapor Canister Purge Solenoid is a direct-fit replacement component for your vehicle's Evaporative Emission Control (EVAP) system. The purge solenoid is controlled by the engine control module (ECM) and regulates the flow of fuel vapors stored in the charcoal vapor canister, routing them back into the intake stream to be burned during normal combustion — reducing harmful hydrocarbon emissions and improving fuel efficiency.

Key Features:

• Engineered to match OE parts in fit, form, and function for a direct, hassle-free replacement
• Compatible with both domestic and imported vehicle applications
• Includes OE-style brackets, hardware, and electrical connectors where applicable
• Designed to meet or exceed original equipment specifications for superior performance and reliability
• Helps prevent rough idle, hard starts, excessive fuel consumption, and Check Engine light (CEL) activation associated with a failed purge solenoid

A faulty vapor canister purge solenoid can cause a rich-running condition, decreased fuel economy, increased hydrocarbon emissions, and potential failure of an emissions inspection. The Wells 2N1058 restores proper EVAP system function and is typically located under the hood near the intake manifold, though the exact location may vary by engine design.
