Wells 2M1592 Vapor Canister Purge Solenoid

The Wells 2M1592 Vapor Canister Purge Solenoid is a direct-fit replacement component for your vehicle's evaporative emission control (EVAP) system. This solenoid valve is responsible for routing stored fuel vapors from the charcoal vapor canister into the engine's intake stream, where they are burned in the combustion chamber — reducing harmful emissions and maintaining optimal fuel efficiency.

Engineered and manufactured by Wells Vehicle Electronics (also marketed as WVE by NTK), this purge solenoid is built to match OE parts in fit, form, and function. It is designed for both domestic and imported vehicle applications.

Key Features:

• Direct OE replacement — matches original equipment in fit, form, and function
• High-technology manufacturing with innovative improvements over OE designs
• Ensures fast, easy installation with no modifications required
• Includes OE-style brackets, hardware, and electrical connectors where applicable
• Compatible with domestic and imported vehicle applications
• Restores proper EVAP system operation and helps clear related diagnostic trouble codes

The vapor canister purge solenoid is typically located under the hood near the intake manifold, though placement can vary by engine design. A faulty purge solenoid may result in rough idle, reduced fuel economy, failed emissions tests, or an illuminated check engine light. The Wells 2M1592 delivers reliable, long-lasting performance to restore your vehicle's emission control system to factory specifications.
