Wells 2M1456 Vapor Canister Purge Solenoid Valve

The Wells 2M1456 is a vapor canister purge solenoid valve designed to control the flow of fuel vapors from the EVAP (Evaporative Emission Control) system canister to the engine intake manifold. This emissions control component plays a critical role in reducing harmful hydrocarbon emissions by allowing the engine computer to precisely regulate when stored fuel vapors are drawn into the combustion chamber to be burned.

Key Features:

• Direct replacement for failed or malfunctioning OEM purge valve solenoids
• Engineered to meet or exceed original equipment specifications
• Helps prevent Check Engine Light codes related to EVAP system performance
• Ensures proper emission system function and compliance
• Manufactured by Wells Vehicle Electronics, a trusted name in emission control components

A faulty purge solenoid can cause rough idle, poor fuel economy, failed emissions tests, and trigger diagnostic trouble codes. Replacing a worn or defective purge valve with this quality Wells component restores proper EVAP system operation and helps maintain optimal engine performance.
