Wells 2M1443 Vapor Canister Purge Solenoid Valve

The Wells 2M1443 is a direct-fit replacement vapor canister purge solenoid valve designed to restore proper evaporative emission control (EVAP) system function. This solenoid regulates the flow of fuel vapors from the charcoal canister to the intake manifold, where they are burned rather than released into the atmosphere — a critical function for emissions compliance and engine efficiency.

Key Features:

• Direct OE replacement for precise fit and reliable performance
• Controls fuel vapor flow between the charcoal canister and intake manifold
• Helps maintain proper EVAP system operation and prevent fuel vapor leaks
• Engineered to meet or exceed original equipment specifications
• Designed to resolve EVAP-related diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) such as P0443, P0446, and related codes
• Manufactured by Wells Vehicle Electronics, a trusted name in engine management and emissions components

A faulty purge solenoid can trigger the check engine light, cause rough idle, reduce fuel economy, and result in failed emissions testing. The Wells 2M1443 offers a cost-effective, quality solution to restore the EVAP system to proper working order.
