Wells 2M1338 Vapor Canister Purge Solenoid Valve

The Wells 2M1338 is a direct-fit replacement vapor canister purge solenoid valve designed to restore proper evaporative emission control (EVAP) system function. This solenoid regulates the flow of fuel vapors from the charcoal canister to the intake manifold, where they are burned during normal engine operation rather than venting into the atmosphere.

A faulty purge solenoid commonly triggers a Check Engine Light with EVAP-related diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) such as P0441 or P0446, and may cause rough idle, poor fuel economy, or failed emissions tests. The Wells 2M1338 is engineered to meet or exceed original equipment specifications for a reliable, long-lasting repair.
