Wells 2M1112 Vapor Canister Vent Solenoid EVAP Vent Valve

The Wells 2M1112 is a direct-fit replacement Vapor Canister Vent Solenoid engineered to restore proper function to your vehicle's Evaporative Emission Control (EVAP) system. The vapor canister vent solenoid allows outside air to be drawn into the charcoal-filled vapor canister, enabling the purging of fuel vapors from the canister during normal vapor purge operation.

Wells Vapor Canister Vent Solenoids are engineered and tested to match OE parts in fit, form, and function, and are compatible with both domestic and imported vehicles. Products come with OE-style brackets, hardware, and electrical connectors when applicable.

Key Features:

• OE-matched replacement – engineered to meet original equipment specifications for reliable performance
• Complete hardware included – OE-style brackets and electrical connectors included where applicable
• EVAP system compatibility – designed to work seamlessly within the vehicle's evaporative emissions control system
• Convenient location – typically located on or near the vapor canister by the fuel tank

A common symptom of a failing vapor canister vent solenoid is an illuminated check engine light. A diagnostic tool can provide a related trouble code, and if that code references the EVAP system, the solenoid is often the culprit. Replacing the solenoid with the Wells 2M1112 helps restore proper EVAP system function and supports passing emissions inspections.
