Product Details

The Wells 2M1064 is a replacement vapor canister vent solenoid valve designed to restore proper function to your vehicle's evaporative emission control (EVAP) system. This solenoid controls the venting of fuel vapors from the charcoal canister, allowing fresh air to purge the canister during normal engine operation while preventing raw fuel vapors from escaping into the atmosphere.

A failed vent solenoid commonly triggers a check engine light with EVAP-related diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) such as P0446, P0447, or P0448, and can also cause difficulty passing emissions inspections. Replacing the vent solenoid with a quality unit like the Wells 2M1064 restores proper EVAP system operation and clears these fault codes.

Key Features:

  • Direct OE replacement for the vapor canister vent solenoid
  • Restores proper evaporative emission control (EVAP) system function
  • Helps resolve EVAP-related check engine light codes (P0446, P0447, P0448)
  • Designed for precise fit and reliable electrical connectivity
  • Manufactured by Wells, a trusted name in engine management and emissions components

Wells Vehicle Electronics is a well-established supplier of ignition, sensors, and emissions control components. The 2M1064 is built to meet or exceed original equipment specifications, ensuring a dependable, long-lasting repair.
