Febi 34-35-6-890-788 Front Brake Pad Wear Sensor

The Febi 34-35-6-890-788 is a front brake pad wear sensor designed to monitor the thickness of your vehicle's brake pad friction lining and alert you when replacement is needed. This critical safety component ensures your braking system operates efficiently and provides timely warning before brake pads reach unsafe wear levels.

How It Works:

The sensor is wired to the brake control module with a 12-volt circuit. When brake pad wear causes the sensor to contact the brake rotor, it completes the circuit and triggers a warning light on your instrument cluster, notifying you that brake service is required. This early warning system helps prevent brake system damage and ensures optimal stopping performance.

Key Features:

• Front axle application for accurate wear monitoring
• Manufactured by Febi Bilstein to meet stringent quality standards
• Direct replacement for OEM part number 34356890788
• Precise fit and reliable operation
• Designed for standard brake systems (not compatible with M Performance Brakes)

Installation Notes:

It is highly recommended to replace the brake pad wear sensor whenever replacing brake pads, even if the sensor has not been triggered. These sensors become fragile with age and can easily break during removal, potentially causing false warnings after brake service is completed.
