EHP-AYP 580940901 Fuel Cap Assembly for Chainsaws

The EHP-AYP 580940901 is a genuine OEM fuel cap assembly designed to create a secure seal over the fuel tank opening to prevent leaks and keep debris out. Constructed from durable black plastic, this replacement cap is sold individually and is compatible with various AYP, Poulan, Craftsman, Husqvarna, Jonsered, RedMax, and Weed Eater chainsaw models.

Key Features:

• Includes a retainer that remains in the tank to keep the fuel cap from being lost or falling on the ground
• Comes with an O-ring to seal the cap and prevent fuel evaporation
• Features an integrated cap tether for added convenience
• Easy installation with no specialized tools required

When to Replace:

If the fuel cap is stripped or missing the O-ring, it can cause a leak and will need to be replaced. A damaged, cracked, or missing cap can lead to fuel loss, poor engine performance, or contamination of the fuel supply.
