Aftermarket LARLR010828#F Suspension Ride Height Sensor

The Aftermarket LARLR010828#F Suspension Ride Height Sensor is a critical component designed to monitor and maintain proper vehicle ride height in air suspension systems. This sensor continuously measures the distance between the vehicle chassis and the road surface, transmitting real-time data to the suspension control module to ensure optimal performance and handling.

Key Features:

• Direct replacement for OEM part numbers LR010828 and LR023652
• Designed for front left or right mounting positions
• Works with both air suspension and headlight leveling systems
• Precision electronic sensor with durable mechanical linkage arm
• Communicates with ECU to adjust air spring pressure automatically
• Lightweight construction at approximately 0.2 kg (0.44 lbs)

This ride height sensor plays a vital role in active suspension systems by relaying position information to the electronic control unit, which then signals the air compressor to inflate or deflate the air springs as needed. The sensor features a moving arm that tracks suspension travel, converting mechanical movement into electronic signals. Without a properly functioning ride height sensor, the air suspension system cannot maintain correct vehicle height, potentially leading to poor handling, uneven tire wear, or complete suspension failure.

Ride height sensors are subject to wear from constant movement and exposure to road debris, moisture, and salt. Regular inspection and timely replacement of faulty sensors helps prevent damage to other expensive air suspension components including the compressor and air springs.
