OTC Tools 5606-DG Digital Compression Tester Kit 3-300 PSI

The OTC Tools 5606-DG Digital Compression Tester Kit is a professional-grade diagnostic tool designed to determine the mechanical condition of engine cylinders across a wide range of applications. This comprehensive kit works on gasoline engines including domestic and import vehicles, motorcycles, marine engines, snowmobiles, ATVs, and small engines.

Key Features:

• Digital gauge with 2.5-inch backlit LCD display for easy reading in any lighting condition
• Measure, record, and playback compression readings on 1 to 12 cylinders for efficient testing and diagnosis
• Wide measurement range of 3-300 PSI (0-2100 kPa) with multiple display units: PSI, bar, kPa, and kg/cm²
• Extra-long 26-inch flexible hose with quick disconnect coupler allows easy viewing from outside cluttered engine compartments
• Rugged protective rubber boot shields the gauge from workshop impacts
• Standard and specialty adapters work on both flat and tapered seat spark plug holes
• Corrosion-resistant nickel-plated finish for long-lasting durability
• Push-button side release valve quickly relieves pressure for repeat testing
• Powered by 9V battery (not included) with low power indicator and auto power-off feature
• Blow-molded hard case organizes all adapters and protects the digital gauge head

Compression testing helps diagnose worn pistons and rings, cylinder wall damage, worn or sticking valves, and compromised head gaskets—all common causes of driveability issues. The tester connects directly to the spark plug hole for accurate pressure readings.
