Universal Air Conditioner AK2492 A/C System Repair Kit

The Universal Air Conditioner AK2492 is an A/C system ancillary repair kit designed to restore proper air conditioning operation when servicing or repairing automotive climate control systems. This comprehensive kit provides the essential components needed for professional A/C system maintenance and repair.

Kit Includes:

• A/C accumulator (receiver-drier)
• Fixed orifice tube
• O-rings and gasket seals

The accumulator protects the A/C compressor by filtering debris and storing excess liquid refrigerant, ensuring only vapor reaches the compressor. The orifice tube regulates refrigerant flow and acts as a filter to trap contaminants. Fresh o-rings and seals ensure leak-free connections when reassembling the system. These components should be replaced whenever the A/C system is opened for major repairs to maintain system integrity and protect new components.

Universal Air Conditioner (UAC) is a leading aftermarket manufacturer of mobile climate control products, offering quality replacement parts for automotive air conditioning systems. Professional installation, system evacuation, and proper refrigerant recharging are required.
