Hella 009409181 Exhaust Gas Differential Pressure Sensor

The Hella 009409181 is an exhaust gas differential pressure sensor designed to monitor the pressure difference across the diesel particulate filter (DPF) in modern diesel engines. This sensor plays a critical role in ensuring proper exhaust system operation and emissions compliance by providing accurate pressure measurements to the engine control module.

Key Features:

• Measures pressure differential across the DPF to monitor filter performance and loading
• Bolted mounting type for secure installation
• 3-pin electrical connector for reliable communication with the ECM
• OE-quality construction from Hella, a trusted OEM supplier with over 60 years of electronics expertise
• Helps optimize fuel efficiency and reduce emissions by ensuring proper exhaust system function
• Professional installation recommended

This sensor is commonly associated with diagnostic trouble codes P0471, P0472, and P0473, which indicate exhaust pressure sensor circuit or performance issues. Replacing a faulty differential pressure sensor can restore proper DPF regeneration, improve engine performance, and prevent potential damage to the exhaust system.
