Product Details

The OTC Tools 213487 is a specialized diagnostic adapter cable designed for use with OTC Genisys scan tools and their rebranded equivalents (Matco, Mac, and Cornwell). This Universal A carburetor adapter cable enables technicians to diagnose and troubleshoot carbureted vehicles from the late 1980s and early 1990s era.

Key Features:

  • Compatible with OTC Genisys, Genisys EVO, and Genisys Touch scan tools
  • Works with Matco, Mac, and Cornwell rebranded Genisys platforms
  • Designed for GM Spectrum and other carburetor-equipped import vehicles
  • Enables access to early electronic engine control systems
  • Durable construction for professional shop use

This adapter cable is essential for shops servicing older import vehicles with carburetor-based fuel systems that utilize early diagnostic communication protocols. The cable connects between the scan tool and the vehicle's diagnostic connector, allowing access to trouble codes and basic system parameters.

I placed my order by email through the wholesale department and didn't realize that I needed to complete the finalized quote that was emailed back to me because it ended up in my spam folder. This delayed things, but I learned from the experience and received excellent customer service.
