Genuine 270-010-97-03 Mercedes-Benz Crankcase Vent Valve Oil Separator

The Genuine Mercedes-Benz 270-010-97-03 Crankcase Vent Valve — also known as an oil separator — is a factory OEM replacement component for the crankcase ventilation system on select Mercedes-Benz M270 and M274 four-cylinder engines. This part is manufactured to original Mercedes-Benz specifications, ensuring a precise fit and proper function within the engine's positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) system.

The crankcase vent valve plays a critical role in engine health by separating oil vapors from blow-by gases before they are recirculated back into the intake system. A worn or failed oil separator can lead to oil contamination in the intake, increased carbon buildup on intake valves, elevated oil consumption, and rough idle or performance issues.

Key Features:

• Genuine OEM Mercedes-Benz part — not aftermarket or remanufactured
• Also referred to as an oil separator or crankcase ventilation oil separator
• Direct factory replacement — no modifications required for installation
• Backed by a minimum 12-month manufacturer warranty
• Designed for Mercedes-Benz M270 and M274 turbocharged inline-4 engines
