Gates 51713 Premium Modular Coolant Hose Assembly

The Gates 51713 Premium Modular Coolant Hose is an OE-quality replacement hose assembly designed for today's complex cooling systems. Unlike traditional molded hoses, this modular coolant hose is a complete assembly that may include integrated components such as hose branches, quick connectors, valves, sensors, bleeders, or flow restrictors built directly into the hose.

Key Features:

• EPDM tube construction with synthetic fiber knit reinforcement for superior strength and durability
• Heat- and ozone-resistant EPDM cover protects against harsh engine bay conditions
• Engineered to resist electrochemical degradation (ECD), the leading cause of coolant hose failure
• Temperature range: -40°F to +275°F (-40°C to +135°C)
• Meets SAE 20R3 EC Class D1 (under 1" ID) and SAE 20R4 EC Class D1 (1" ID and over)
• Re-engineered materials resist vacuum collapse
• Manufactured to OEM specifications for proper fit and reliable performance

Gates modular coolant hoses are precision-manufactured for specific vehicle applications and include the exact integrated components required for a complete, direct-fit replacement. This ensures your vehicle's cooling system operates properly and efficiently for years to come. Gates recommends replacing hose clamps each time a new coolant hose is installed for optimal sealing performance.
