Covercraft C17610PT WeatherShield HP Custom Car Cover - Taupe

The Covercraft WeatherShield HP Custom Car Cover (C17610PT) is a premium all-weather vehicle cover engineered for both indoor and outdoor protection. Custom-patterned to fit your specific vehicle, this taupe-colored cover combines Covercraft's precision fit with the advanced performance of EPIC® by Nextec encapsulation technology.

Advanced Fabric Technology:

Covercraft partnered with Nextec Applications to develop the WeatherShield HP fabric, a process protected by over 51 patents. Using precise polymer placement, silicone-based polymers are worked deep inside the fabric fibers under heat and pressure — encapsulating each individual strand rather than coating the surface. The result is a breathable, high-performance single-layer fabric that repels water, blocks UV rays, and protects paint without laminates or surface coatings.

Key Features:

• All-Weather Protection – Sheds rain, dust, dirt, bird droppings, and tree sap for indoor and outdoor use
• Breathable Design – Micro-pores allow trapped heat, moisture, and condensation to escape, preventing mildew and paint damage
• Solution-Dyed Fibers – Color pigments are embedded throughout each fiber for superior fade resistance and color-safe protection for your paint
• Dramatic Water Dispersion – Moisture beads up and shakes off quickly, with superior dry time compared to multi-layer covers
• Lightweight & Compact – Weighs approximately 5 oz per square yard and packs into roughly 1/3 the volume of standard multi-layer covers; storable in your trunk
• Machine Washable – Mid-size covers and smaller can be cleaned in a standard home washer and dryer
• Paint-Safe Finish – Silicone polymer encapsulation formula creates a silky-smooth inner surface that is gentler than flannel on your vehicle's finish
• Built-In Urethane Elastic – Sewn into front and rear hems for a snug, secure fit and easy installation
• Reinforced Grommets – Non-scratch grommets at the hem protect paint during installation and removal
• 4-Year Warranty – Covercraft backs this cover against defects in materials and workmanship for four years from date of purchase

The WeatherShield HP is an ideal everyday-use cover for most climates. For regions with extreme prolonged sun exposure such as Southern California or Arizona, Covercraft's Sunbrella or WeatherShield HD fabrics may be more appropriate. This cover is custom-made to order in the USA using Covercraft's library of over 80,000 vehicle-specific patterns.
