Product Details

The Dorman 601-620 Smart Data Link Module is an OBD-II data link connector designed to restore proper communication between your vehicle's controller area network (CAN) bus and diagnostic devices. This module enables critical data transfer between the vehicle's onboard computer systems and diagnostic tools that connect to the OBD-II port.

Key Features:

  • Direct replacement for original equipment data link module
  • Restores communication between CAN bus network and OBD-II diagnostic port
  • Enables proper function of diagnostic scanners and monitoring devices
  • Engineered to match OEM fit and function specifications
  • Essential for vehicles with failed or damaged data link communication modules

This module is a critical component for maintaining proper diagnostic capabilities in select Ford and Lincoln vehicles. When the original data link module fails, it can prevent access to diagnostic trouble codes, emission monitors, and other vital vehicle data. The Dorman 601-620 provides a reliable, cost-effective solution to restore full diagnostic functionality.
